Can I use baking soda to freshen up my bokashi bin?

Posted by 'Mr Bokashi' On November - 12 - 2011

A customer recently asked me a good question which I would like to share with all my ZingBokashi users.

Q. ”I am wondering if I can use baking soda or similar to freshen up my my bokashi bin.  After its first use it was washed out with just water and dried but it is a little funky smelling.  Suggestions please? ”

A.  Baking Soda is ok and you can also use white vinegar.

If you have any questions or perhaps tips and suggestions for using with our ZingBokashi products, contact “Mr Bokashi” and I will be in touch soon or write it here in my blog.
